Best school for the blind and why?

Hi.
This has come up a few times in qn's, so i thought i'd post it here to see what people thought.
Which school for the blind do you think is the best, and if so, why?
Personally i go to ncw in the uk, which i think is ok, but it is getting worse, for example, it was only ment to be a school for kinda bright peeps, now, it seems that they are so short on money that they are accepting anyone.
Your thoughts? BEN.
